From April 1, 2026, FSSAI licenses have perpetual validity — no more renewal every 1–5 years. However, all license holders must pay an Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) every year. If AMF is not paid on time, your license is automatically marked "Deemed Suspended" — you cannot legally sell food products.
